Fifty. That's the number on the Pennsylvania, Colorado and Charlotte sets from Reach International Outfitters: 50 scratch-off adventures in every box. Each card has icons at the bottom that hint at things like the ideal season, duration and approximate cost. Pick a card that fits your plans, then give it a scratch. This list walks through how to choose a set, then the towns those three list. The 50 activities themselves stay hidden until a card is scratched. No spoilers, promise.
Why these items are on the list
- Choose the town first. The Colorado and Pennsylvania cards put a city name on top; Charlotte's puts an area name.
- Read the season icon. Icons at the bottom of each card hint at things like season, duration and approximate cost.
- Scan the QR code. It pulls up more info, and Reach will swap in a new adventure if a business closes.
- Choose a relaxed-pace set. Reach's In Stock page lists Relaxed Pace and Leisurely filters, 2 sets each.
- Look for a hiking edition. Reach's In Stock page lists 17 Hike sets, and a separate Arizona Hiking set is tagged Active Pace.
- Consider a family edition. Reach's In Stock page shows 5 Family sets, and a Kids Friendly filter that also shows 5.
- Match a set to your home. The In Stock page filters show 49 state sets and 48 city sets.
- Pick a city day-trip set. Reach's In Stock page tags 47 sets Day Trips, and its Charlotte page puts all 50 adventures within an hour.
- Scan Colorado's town list. Reach lists Arvada, Aspen, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, Leadville, Mesa Verde National Park and more.
- Skim Pennsylvania's towns. Reach lists Allentown, Altoona, Bangor, Bedford, Benton, Blakeslee, Bradford, Bridgeport, Bushkill, Conneaut Lake, Delaware Water and more.
- Check the Charlotte area. Reach's Charlotte page lists Charlotte, Belmont, Concord, Harmony, Hiddenite and Huntersville, with adventures within one hour of the city.
- Try a Colorado Springs city set. Reach's Colorado state set covers it too, but Reach lists a separate Colorado Springs set of 50 City Adventures.
Tick sets and towns off on your phone as you go. No scratching, no coin, and easy to text to whoever you're dragging along.
