The page lists 36 goals, and the man it was pinned on says it isn't his. Kanye West wrote 'This list is not real' on X on December 29, 2025, after the handwritten note spread online. Plenty of people liked it anyway: Rolling Out says supporters called the goals relatable and refreshingly normal. Number 36, learning to pole dance, sparked its own round of reactions. This list picks 25 of the 36 goals as reported, not the full page, so treat it as a fun template, not a window into anyone's real plans. Album news is out of scope.
Why these items are on the list
- Climb Mount Kilimanjaro. One of the bold goals on the handwritten page.
- Visit Machu Picchu. Netflix Junkie writes it as climbing Machu Picchu; Geo News calls it a trip.
- Travel through South America. Its own goal, separate from Machu Picchu and the Amazon.
- Swim with great white sharks. Geo News specifically names great whites; other reports just say sharks.
- Go skydiving. Netflix Junkie lists it right next to swimming with sharks.
- Try bungee jumping. Netflix Junkie's rundown has it right after skydiving.
- Learn to surf. Geo News says surfing was already ticked off on the page.
- Go scuba diving. Also shown ticked off on the page, per Geo News.
- Try snowboarding. Geo News lists it among the goals already ticked off.
- Ride an elephant. Also checked off, per Geo News, along with surfing, scuba diving and snowboarding.
- Visit Christ the Redeemer. Rolling Out says it's already checked off, which had skeptical fans calling the list outdated.
- See the Taj Mahal. One user noted the difference between the Taj Mahal Palace hotel and the monument.
- Drive Los Angeles to New York. The big road trip on the list, separate from the motorbike goal.
- Ride the Trans-Siberian Express. Written as the North Trans-Siberian Express, part of a wish to travel in Russia.
- Soak in Iceland hot springs. The cozy one among the dramatic travel goals.
- Climb a volcano. Netflix Junkie's rundown lists it without naming which volcano.
- See the Great Wall of China. Netflix Junkie names it alongside the pyramids, the Amazon, the Dead Sea and Petra.
- Visit Angkor Wat. In Cambodia. The Moai in Chile is on the same list.
- Attend a drive-in movie. One of the quieter entries, far from the sharks.
- Learn French. A skill goal tucked in among the landmarks.
- Write a book. A creative goal, alongside designing clothes and making shampoos and soaps.
- Make shampoos and soaps. Yes, really. It's one of the 36 goals, tucked in with writing a book and designing clothes.
- Learn to invest. One user joked that a billionaire shouldn't need it on a bucket list.
- Own a pug. Geo News pairs wanting a pug with swimming with great white sharks.
- Learn to pole dance. Geo News says number 36, "learn to pole dance," sparked the whole reaction.
Tick it on your phone, and it's better with a friend arguing over which goals are actually reasonable. Add your own at the bottom.
