Let the baked chicken rest before you cut it. Gimme Some Oven calls resting non-negotiable, RecipeTin Eats waits 3 to 5 minutes, and Easy Weeknight Recipes says 5 to 7. The four sources also agree on a 165°F internal temperature and a hot oven, 425°F to 450°F. This list assumes boneless, skinless breasts baked in the oven, and mixes cooking steps, seasoning ideas and sides.
