Clear is a listing app made by Impending, Inc. Use the app or this site and these terms apply. We've kept them short and in plain language on purpose.
You can use Clear anonymously or sign in with Apple. Keep your device and account secure — what happens under your account is on you. You must be old enough to have a legal account under the laws where you live.
Your lists are yours. We claim no ownership of what you write. To make sharing work, you give us (and the services we run on) a limited license to store, transmit, display, cache, and generate previews of the lists you share — that's it, and only for operating Clear. If you leave a shared list or delete your account, what you contributed stays in that list for its remaining members.
An invite link is a key to the list: anyone holding it can view and join. Treat it like a key. Owners can revoke invites, which stops new people from joining but doesn't remove existing members. We reserve the right to disable links or access that are being abused.
Don't use Clear to do anything illegal, to harass or harm your collaborators, or to attack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. Don't share content you have no right to share. Be the collaborator you'd want on your own list.
The in-app shop is billed through the App Store or Google Play, and their billing terms govern purchases and refunds.
You can stop using Clear and delete your account any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data, including the shared-list caveat above.
Clear is provided as-is, by a small indie team. We work hard to keep it running and your lists safe, but we can't promise perfection, and our total liability to you is capped at what you've paid us in the last twelve months. These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA.
Happy listing with Clear. See also our Privacy Policy.
